Electronic music festival returns to the Spread

This September sees electronic music organisers iOccupy return to the Spread Eagle for yet another all-day dance event.

After their July event, promoters Neil Preedy and Marcus Harmon hope to improve on what attendees called ‘an epic success’ of their Occupy the Spread electronic music festival.

The 14-hour display saw hundreds of dance music fans from across the UK attend to see over 20 DJs from England and Wales.

The event was headlined by Ministry of Sound DJ Academy tutor J-me* Griffiths, and Wet.fm resident Jamie Parnell, plus some great new and old local talent play multiple styles of electronic music.

This time the promoters hope to go one better by gaining more sponsors for the event.

Planed for the 15 September party will be some big improvements.

Malven Scaffolding will be erecting a temporary roof over the new extended beer garden to create Hereford’s first ever outdoor day club. An improved sound system for the outside is to be used, along with some state of the art 3D laser for the evening … all followed by a much-requested after-party at the Jailhouse.

If having over 20 DJs in July wasn’t enough, the September event will see 30! Catapult Records boss Stu Grady will be headlining the Jailhouse after-party and Jamie Parnell returns from London to headline the terrace at the Spread.

Tickets will go on sale four weeks before the event at £7.50 for entry to both the Spread and the Jailhouse.
